Prostatic Artery Embolization: Case report

Clinical case 1

Patient:

Male, 49 years old

Symptoms:

- Multiple urination

- Multiple night-time awakenings

- Low urine stream

Clinical case 2

Patient:

Male, 65 years old 

Symptoms:

- Multiple urination. Pollakiuria

- Multiple night-time awakenings

- Low urine stream

Remarks after CT scan of prostatic arteries:

There is communication between the prostatic artery and the penile artery. This communication is blocked by coils (see photo 3) so that the microbeads injected during embolization reach the prostate and not the penis.
